This is a relisting Previously we listed the record with the wrong sleeve. Following a further conversation with the private collector it belongs to we have been able to reunite the record with it s original sleeve

The Beatles Please Please Me LP, Mono, Album, Gold Black Label, 1963.

From the private collection of the original purchaser who bought it new following it s original release in 1963. This item is in excellent condition .

The vinyl is clean and unmarked with very little damage to the centre hole and no spindle marks. There are a few light marks on the vinyl none of which interfere with playback. There is a slight crease in the label which would have occurred when it was applied . It doesnt show up on the photos but for complete honesty I have included it in this description.There is the trade mark ridge/groove on Side 2 caused by the pressing machine.

The EJ Day printed sleeve is in very nice condition. Please see the photographs where I have tried to show the imperfections on the back cover. There is a one inch long ink stain shown in the photographs

Matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N

On play back on our Project /Ortofon 2M Blue combination there is a little noise on the lead up groove however this disappears as soon as the music starts and does not manifest between tracks.

The record will be sent tracked and insured to the successful bidder
