This item is the very rare LP Album A Midsummer s Nght Dream by Oberon. It was released on Acorn Records in 1971. This is a very rare record, there is some disagreement as to actual numbers some sites stating that there were 99 copies pressed and others saying 150. Band members, in an interview I have read, say the figure was 99.
The vinyl is in EX condition and looks like it has been very carefully played. The issues are obviously with the cover. In addition to some damage someone has clearly enjoyed taking their colouring set out. They ve done a really neat job, but things are not as they should be The insert is also a bit marked and creased.
An excellent feature is that the cover and insert appear to have been signed by Chris Smith, guitarist with the band. We have been unable to verify the signature, but it is credible. We think Chris came from Chapel en le Frith in Derbyshire and this album was bought in the High Peak where we are based.
