-10 CDs, each in a cardboard sleeve, each covering a period in his career, which spanned 1923-1970.-The CDs include a complete 1956 Hollywood Bowl concert, a 70 minute 1965 interview, 23 studio outtakes and much more.-200 page stunning hardbound book, which contains tons of rare pictures of Satchmo on stage/in the studio, a detailed narrative of his career, pictures of various tape boxes/equipment, and more.-A booklet that has detailed recording information about every song included in this box set.-5 sheets/booklets containing replicas of studio schedules, and handwritten sheet music of 2 of his more popular tunes.

This is an incredible set that took a lot of effort, research and time to put together. Most importantly, the music itself sounds great, even the 1920 s music, considering its age. This is arguably the most comprehensive Louis Armstrong set available. This 10CD box set/case was very limited, and is long out of print/hard to find now. A must-have for fans of the great Louis Armstrong
