How to open media files on Disc 3-B of Anthology of American Folk Music: Read first:

Here are the folders you will be working with:

The ARCHIVE, BIOG, and COLLECT folders contain audio files. The MAIN folder contains credits. The VIDEO folder contains video clips. Unfortunately, the PHOTOS folder is inaccessible without Windows 95. All files with the extension “.MOV” are media files.

For PC:

  1. Insert CD into your CD drive.

  2. Open up the “My Computer” window on your desktop.

  3. Right-click on the folder "HARRY," and then click OPEN.

  4. Open the desired folder.

  5. Right-click on the file you wish to open. Click on “Open with,” and then “Choose Program.

    You can choose to open the “.MOV” files on any multi-media platform (QuickTime, Windows Media Player, iTunes, etc.).

For Mac:

Open up the desired folder. (read above)
Double-click on the desired file. An audio or video player should appear.
