The Harbinger Complex Unreleased Acetate - Fruit Cake / Life of Constant Sorrow Garage Psych Fuzz Nuggets 66/67
Very very rare unreleased acetate 7 45 by East Bay Psych group The Harbinger Complex. This is rare and excellent acetate single. It may be the only one in existence. According to the liner notes on A Pot of Flowers it was recorded in mid 66 between the band s two released singles.
Fruit Cake is completely Unreleased and Life of Constant Sorrow is a demo/early version of My Dear and Kind Sir
The acetate was recorded at Golden State recorders and cut in house using their stock label design
Condition is VG with surface scratches and marks. I have only played it once to make a simple LOFI recording sample on my phone using voice memo of both tracks so you can hear the songs and also the condition.
There are no warps or skips. It s enjoyable for an acetate of this era with a little surface noise but no repeating clicks or anything that particularly stands out. Life of Constant Sorrow plays with a bit more noise as heard on the sample, but it is also a quieter song.
Shipping will be by a mutually agreed upon courier with the item fully insured for the sales price and carefully packed.
