THIS IS ONE SUCH ALBUM. AN ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE STEREO COPY OF THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME
WELL FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW, THE GOLD AND BLACK LABEL FIRST APPEARED FOR THE ONE AND ONLY TIME ON THE BEATLES DEBUT ALBUM. THERE WERE TWO VERSIONS OF IT, KNOWN AS THE FIRST PRESS AND THE SECOND PRESS, BOTH ARE EQUALLY AS RARE AND THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE FIRST PRESS HAD SONGS INCORRECTLY CREDITED TO DICK JAMES, WHERAS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NORTHERN SONGS.
PARLOPHONE SHORTLY AFTER THE ORIGINAL RELEASE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE LABELS TO THE MORE COMMON YELLOW AND BLACK AND THUS APPEARED A VERY SHORT LIVED 3RD PRESS 1ST YELLOW AND BLACK THIS WAS ALSO QUICKLY CHANGED BECAUSE THE RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT AT 9 0 CLOCK ON THE LABEL WAS OMITTED IN ERROR.
THIS WAS ORIGINALLY KNOWN AS THE THIRD PRESS, THEN A LABEL ANOMOLY WAS DISCOVERED WHERE THERE WAS AN EXTRA 33 1/RD PRINTED NEXT TO THE BRACKETED MATRIX NUMBER
THIS WAS IMMEDIATELY REDONE WITH WHAT WAS THOUGHT TO BE CORRECT LABELS THIS COPY BUT STILL WRONG BECAUSE THE RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED INFO WAS STILL MISSING
SO THIS LABEL WAS SCRAPPED AND THE COMMON ONE WHICH BECAME THE CORRECT NORMAL LABEL WAS PLACED ON THE RECORD
SO YOU MIGHT SAY THIS IS A THIRD PRESS WITH A 4TH LABEL, OR A 4TH PRESS DEPENDING ON YOUR VIEWPOINT. EITHER WAY IT WAS ONLY EVER PRODUCCED IN LIMITED NUMBERS DUE TO THE ERROR
THIS VINYL AND AUDIO IS ABSOLUTELY MINT SOUNDING
A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO COLLECT AN ALBUM THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OBTAIN
THE RECORDS
THE LABELS
THE ORIGINAL YELLOW AND BLACK LABELS ARE IN MAGIFICENT CONDITION . THE JET BLACK BASE COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT AND FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE.IT IS DEEP IN COLOUR AND HAS NO WHITE FLECKS LIKE SOME DO
THE SILVER TYPEFACE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE AND UNRUBBED. THE YELLOW LOGO IS IN THE SAME EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. I COUNT TWO TINY SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE ON SIDE TWO, AND NONE ON SIDE ONE. IT IS CLEAR BOTH FROM LOOKING AT THIS, AND THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL, THIS COULD NOT HAVE HAD MORE THAN A COUPLE OF PLAYS
THE VINYL
A MINT CONDITION VINYL THAT HAS RETAINED EVERY BIT OF THE ORIGINAL SHEEN, AND LOOKS TOTALLY AS NEW. THERE IS NOT ONE MARK ON IT ANYWHERE, AND EVEN UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SEE. JUST A SINGLE WISPY HAIRLINE ON SIDE TWO
PLAYING THE RECORD
WE BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTIBLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. WE HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT.
THIS STEREO RECORD PLAYS THROUGH AS IF IT HAD JUST BEEN PUT ONTO A TURNTABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.
THE FIRST THING THAT IS APPARENT IS THE INCREDIBLE STEREO MIX. A CLARITY OF SOUND THAT YOU ONLY EVER GOT ON THESE EARLIEST OF BEATLES PRESSINGS.
THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE CLEANEST BEATLES STEREO PLEASE PLEASE ME YOU ARE EVER LIKELY TO COME ACCROSS. I GUARANTEE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DISTORTION TO THE MAGNIFICENT STEREO REPRODUCTION AT ANY POINT, NOT EVEN ON THE VULNERABLE ANNA NOTHING IT S JUST INCREDIBLE
THE LINKING GROOVES ARE DEATHLY SILENT. THERE IS NO BACKGROUND CRACKLING WHATSOEVER, ANYWHERE ON ANY TRACK OR ANY OF THE LINKING GROOVES. EVEN THE RUN OUT IS SILENT
THIS ALBUM HAS JUST NOT BEEN PLAYED
THERE ARE NO CLICKS NOTHING . NO DUST POPS WHATSOEVER
THIS VINYL IS AS GOOD NOW AS THE DAY IT WAS PRESSED AND IT JUST HAS TO GRADE MINT
BUT DON T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, TAKE A LISTEN TO THE LP AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF
THE SLEEVE
THIS IS AN E.J.DAY SLEEVE
STARTING WITH THE FRONT SURFACE. THE LAMINATE GLEAMS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR AND THERE IS NOT ONE CREASE OR CREASE LINE ON IT ANYWHERE.
THREE OF THE FOUR CORNERS ARE ABSOLUTELY SQUARE AND MINT WHILST THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER HAS THE BAREST SLIVER OF RUBBING TO IT, AND THE LFT CORNER TIP HAS ONE TINY LINE RUNNING OVER IT
THERE ARE JUST THREE MINUSCULE PRESSURE LINES BY THE SPINE. NONE ALONG THE TOP EDGE, THREE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE AND NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE
THE TOP EDGE IS FULLY LAMINATED AND BOTH CORNER TIPS ARE UNBLEMISHED
THE BOTTOM EDGE HAS A LITTLE SPECK OF RUB TO THE LEFT CORNER TIP. THERE IS A VERY SMALL 1CM SPLIT ON THE RIGHT CORNER
THE SPINE IS MINT TOTALLY UNSQUASHED. ALL OF THE LAMINATE PERFETLY INTACT, AND EVERY LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE PRISTINE
BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM TIPS ARE UNBLEMISHED
THE OPENING EDGE IS STILL RAZOR SHARP WITH JUST A COUPLE OF TINY THUMB NAIL NICKS TO SHOW WHERE THE VINYL WAS REMOVED A COUPLE OF TIMES
THE REAR SURFACE IS STILL AMAZINGLY WHITE. AS GOOD A INNER SURFACE AS I HAVE SEEN ON ANY COPY. BEING VERY PICKY I WOULD SAY THAT THERE IS THE LIGHTEST SHADOW OF HANDLING AT THE MIDDLE OF THE OPENING EDGE
EVERY LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE IS PERFECT.
THE TOP FLIPBACK IS PERFECTLY ADHERED WITH JUST ONE PRESSURE LINE RUNNING OVER IT
THE SPINE FLIPBACK IS ALSO PRISTINE
THE BOTTOM FLIPBACK IS THE ONLY OTHER AREA ON THE SLEEVE THAT HAS A FLAW. THE RIGHT CORNER OF THE FLIP BACK HAS COME AWAY , AND THERE IS A LITTLE PICKING OF THE TOP EDGE JUST LEFT OF CENTRE
THE ORIGINAL EMITEX POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE IS IN SUPERB ORIGINAL CONDITION. A COUPLE OF CREASE LINES AND A COUPLE OF LIGHT BROWN FOXING MOTTLES. NO SPLITS
