Cardboard gatefold cover still remains in the original loose-fitting distributor Sears, Roebuck and Co protective baggy. Usually, these protective baggies contain the red or yellow Sears logo. However, this baggy, has the very rare orange logo, which is as rare as the one containing the turquoise logo. The album comes with 2 very rare original The Greatest Gospel Sound On Record Is On Vee-Jay Records red background inner sleeves. This LP set features 2 records, Introducing the Beatles and The Golden Hits of the Four Seasons.

Original thick, heavy, glossy vinyl pressing with the very early first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl dead wax . The vinyl also contains a date 8/28/63 stamp and machine AudioMatrix stamp. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - 63-3408 ARC A1 RA 2-3-63 5713 AudioMatrix MR in Circle Side 2 - 63-3409 ARC A1 RA 2-3-63 5713-X AudioMatrix MR in Circle.
I grade the cover as somewhere in between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus. It s very clean and doesn t have any writing or splits. Some light shelf wear on the front and back cover along with a light hint of ring wear. A little bit of scuffing and soiling on the corners. The gatefold interior is in Excellent condition. The original portrait poster is in Near Mint condition and doesn t have any tears and pin holes. The original red background Vee-Jay inner sleeves are in Very Good Plus condition. Very clean, but have some light splits and some light occasional wear. I grade the vinyl of Introducing of Beatles as somewhere in between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus. The record has preserved its beautiful factory gloss, only having some very light non-feelable hairlines and scuffs, most likely from the original paper inner sleeve. The very clean labels are wear- and scuff-free only having a few very light spindle marks seen under a strong light source. The shiny vinyl of Golden Hits of the Four Seasons is in Excellent condition barely having any hairlines, just some very light surface scuffs from the original inner sleeve. The clean labels are in Near Mint Minus condition and don t have any spindle marks, wear or scuffs. The vinyl sounds great with some occasional background noise, which is most likely just static and will get reduced or go away completely if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
