THE RECORDS
THE LABELS
THE RED AND PLUM LABELS ARE IN MINT CONDITION.
BOTH BASE COLOURS ARE RICH AND VIBRANT, AND THE WHITEBAND IS STILL WHITE AND NOT SOILED AT ALL.
THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. FINALLY THERE ARE JUST 2-3 TINY SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE SHOWING THAT THIS SUPERB VINYL HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED
THERE IS ALSO SOME RESIDUAL VINYL ATTACHED TO THE SPINDLE HOLE
THE VINYL
THE HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL IS IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION.
IT HAS RETAINED ALL OF IT S ORIGINAL SHEEN. IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS THE DAY IT WAS PRESSED.
THERE ARE NO MARKS OR BLEMISHES ON THE SURFACE, AND EVEN WHEN PUT UP TO SPOTLIGHTS THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE APART FROM A COUPLE OF TINY TINY WISPS.
AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
PLAYING THE RECORD
We have fully recorded this rare pressing so that you can hear that it is truly a Mint Minus album
A final Upgrade and would grace any collection
PLEASE JUST TAKE A LISTEN TO THE QUALITY OF THIS VINYL AS IT WILL SAY FAR MORE THAN I CAN PUT INTO WORDS.
IT IS JUST INCREDIBLE TO THINK THAT AN ALBUM THAT WAS SO POPULAR AS THIS COULD BE FOUND IN A CONDITION THAT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS MINT MINUS
PLAYED JUST THE ONCE OR TWICE PERHAPS, , AND THE STEREO REPRODUCTION JUST MAGINFICENT. IT IS JUST FANTASTIC, THERE IS NO OTHER WORD TO DESCRIBE IT.
FROM THE SECOND THE STYLUS IS PLACED ONTO THE DISC UNTIL THE FINAL FADEOUT, THIS VINYL PERFORMS LIKE A BRAND NEW 1969 DISC.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DISTORTION TO THE SOUND, AND NO BACKGROUND CRACKLES AT ALL, ANYWHERE. CRISP CLEAR STEREO REPRODUCTION WITHOUT ANY IRRITANTS
NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE WHATSOEVER
NO DUST POPS OR TICS AND NO CLICKS OR LOUD POPS
ALL I HEARD DURING THE ENTIRE PLAYS WAS A COUPLE OF BARELY AUDIBLE SPECKS OF BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC IN A SILENT PASSAGE OR TWO
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT THIS INCREDIBLE DISC GRADES MINT MINUS
BUT PLEASE TAKE A FULL LISTEN AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF
THE SLEEVE
HOW OFTEN IS A GREAT VINYL LET DOWN BY THE SLEEVE, AND NON MORESO THAN ZEPPELIN 2, WHERE IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A SLEEVE THAT MATCHES THE QUALITY OF A MINT ALBUM.
HERE THEN IS ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS SLEEVE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN
THIS IS ALSO THE RARE GREEN HUE SPINE VARIANT
THE FRONT SURFACE IS ABSOLUTELY BLEMISH FREE IT IS TOTALLY FLAT AND CREASE FREE.
THE POWDERY BROWN SURFACE THAT USUALLY WEARS AND RUBS BADLY ON THIS SLEEVE IS PRISTINE AND UNWORN.
THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON FOR THIS, AND THAT IS THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER DECIDED TO PLACE THE SLEEVE INTO A PLASTIC OUTER COVER AT SOME EARLY POINT.
ALSO THE WHITE AREA IS ALWAYS FOUND WITH SEVERE GRUBBINESS AND DIRT, WELL AGAIN HERE IS ONE THAT IS VIRTUALLY AS GOOD AS NEW
THERE IS JUST THE ABSOLUTE MINIMAL AMOUNT OF HANDLIND TO THE SPINE EDGE AND A LITTLE IN THE WHITE ZEPPELIN
THIS IS ALSO AS MENTIONED ABOVE THE RARE GREEN HUE SPINE VERSION OF THE SLEEVE. VERY SOUGHT AFTER AMONGST COLLECTOR
AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE EXAMPLE OF THE FRONT SURFACE OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM.
THE TOP EDGES HAVE THE LIGHT BROWN COLOUR ACROSS THE MAIN SURFACE AREAS, AND THE ONLY TINY SPECK OF RUIB SHOWS ON THE RIGHT CORNER TIPS, AND A TINY BIT ON THE LEFT CORNERS.
THE BOTTOM EDGES ARE VERY SIMILAR, CERTAINLY NOT WORN LIKE MOST COPIES
THE SPINE ON THIS SLEEVE IS USUALLY FOUND BATTERED, RUBBED, SQUASHED, AND WORN OUT, BUT ON THIS SLEEVE YOU HAVE A SPINE THAT IS ALMOST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.
FIRSTLY AND INCREDIBLY THE SPINE IS FLAT AND NOT PUSHED OVER LIKE MOST ARE. THERE ARE NO FINGER TO THUMB SQUASHES EITHER, AND ALL OF THE COLOURS HAVE BEEN RETAINED APART FROM THE VERY TIPS TOP AND BOTTOM, WHICH HAVE A SPECK OF RUB
.ALL OF THE TYPEFACE IS PERFECT. THERE IS ONE TINY SCUFF MARK ON THE TOP LEADING EDGE OF THE SPINE NEAR THE BOTTOM
THE OPENING EDGE IS STILL RAZOR SHARP,WITH JUST A COUPLE OF THE TINIEST THUMB NAIL NICKS SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS RECORD HAS BEEN OUTSIDE OF THE COVER.
THE REAR SURFACE WHILST AGAIN IS UNCREASED, IT IS EVERYBIT AS BRILLIANT AS THE FRONT, AGAIN NO LOSS OF THE BROWN SURFACE WHATSOEVER ALSO WORTH POINTING OUT THAT NEITHER THE FRONT OR THE BACK HAS ANY SIGN OF RING WEAR, OR EVEN RECORD SHAPE, WHICH AGAIN IS A RARITY ON THIS SLEEVE
LIKE THE FRONT THERE IS A LITTLE HANDLING IN THE WHITE AREA, BUT NOT SEVERE LIKE ON MOST COPIES
OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS A NEAR PRISTINE PAIR OF INNER PANELS. THERE IS JUST A TINY BIT OF FOXING ON THE LEFT PANEL CLOSE TO THE EDGE
THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE IS INCLUDED, WITH THE FLIPBACKS AND POLY LINED INTERIOR. IT IS WHITE AND CLEAN AND FURTHER EVIDENCE THAT THIS VINYL HAS JUST REMAINED INSIDE THE SLEEVE FOR ALL THESE YEARS
THE SLEEVE GRADES NEAR MINT
I LL JUST FINSH BY SAYING THAT IN MY OPINION YOU COULD NEVER GET A BETTER AND MORE PRISTINE COPY OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM AND SLEEVE ON THE PLANET, AND IT IS WITHOUT DOUBT VAULT CONDITION, AND WILL NEVER NEED UPGRADING, AND FOR SOME LUCKY WINNER THIS IS AN INVESTMENT AS IT CAN ONLY INCREASE IN VALUE, AND WHATEVER IS PAID FOR IT NOW WILL IN FUTURE SEEM A BARGAIN
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
