Item Description

TOMORROW featuring Keith West - self titled

A highly presentable copy of this 1968 UK 1st press psych gem with the gleaming, sparingly played vinyl and superb MONO sound quality being true highlights

Year/Label : UK Parlophone 1968

Label number : PMC 7042

Matrix numbers : XEX 667 - 1 / XEX 668 - 1

Stampers : 1 G / 1 G

Rare and highly sought after 1968 UK 1st press psych gem with earliest 1G/1G stampers truly excellent EX condition gleaming, sparingly played vinyl with beautiful original jet black sheen and just a few very light and purely superficial paper scuff marks, only visible with close scrutiny under a bright light to be precise I would grade the condition of the vinyl as excellent plus EX for side 1 and excellent EX for side 2, simply because the paper scuffs are just slightly more in evidence on side 2 - but you will still need to look closely in a good light to spot them very good plus VG condition - though closer to very good than excellent - front-side laminated flipback Garrod and Lofthouse outer sleeve with firm edges spine, well defined right angled corners, and remaining highly presentable. The blemishes are some 1-2 cm light surface creases adjacent and perpendicular to the edges - I counted x16 on the front side adjacent to the spine and x11 on the reverse side adjacent to the spine, and there are a few more adjacent and perpendicular to the top and bottom sides the top edge has no scuffing at all, the bottom edge x4 scuff nicks and a single 1cm light scuff, the spine has a few scuff nicks and a 1cm scuff which defaces the letters Tom from Tomorrow , there is a little rubbing on each corner, on the front side there is some minor laminate lifting towards the bottom edge and again towards the bottom right corner, and there are a few very light and non-obvious small storage marks on the reverse side along with just the hint of some very minor ageing towards the left opening side the reverse side is in otherwise excellent condition with the top and bottom flipbacks remaining in great shape and just a very light diagonal crease towards the bottom left corner. All art work, photos, and text remain impressively intact and with great definition still. Truly excellent plus EX MONO sound quality with no skips, repeats, jumps, clicks, distortion, or interference and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum...negligible, in fact - just great tone and wonderful clarity throughout with every track a brilliant listen. Comes complete with original excellent plus EX condition EMI advertising inner sleeve with no side splits, creasing or discolouration. Rare, highly sought after and very difficult to find now - especially with such super condition vinyl and brilliant MONO sound quality as this
