The Beatles - The Beatles Second Album
This original pressing is in its factory shrink wrap and is a knockout of a beauty.
The photos tell the story but I ll add some hopefully helpful narration.
No bendings on any of the corners of the cover
A small rip in the wrap found on the front over the B in Beatles shown in photo 5.
A separation on the back shown in photo 10.
The cover is the thick stock as was the standard of that period. Covers printed after 1973/74 were on thinner card stock.
Photo 7 shows a blip on the cover that obviously occurred during printing.
A breathe hole can be seen in photo 1 over George s cheek.
Copies of the mono version of The Beatles Second Album are 6 to 8 times more common than the stereo version.
Photo 8 shows the number 6 in the bottom right corner. From that time period this means the record was pressed at either Capitol s Los Angeles plant or by Columbia.
