33rpm 10 inch vinyl record of LX 3137 Tartini VIOLIN SONATAS Dido Forsaken and The Devil s Trill featuring Campoli on violin accompanied by George Malcolm on piano. It was issued on the mono DECCA orange and gold label. UK pressing. DRL 2302 1A and DRL 2303 1A in the run-off grooves.
The record itself grades very good- with no feelable marks or scratches but a number of light wispy marks.
Play tested with intermittent pops, half a dozen of so quite loud on each side, but no background crackle and both sides have lengthy passages with no issues.
Do NOT expect a near mint record with faultless playback, as this definitely in not the case. Though the music can still be enjoyed, the number of pops may seem to some too intrusive, and if that is the case then this is not the record for you. If you don t mind hearing these imperfections, or just want to own what is a fairly rare and collectable record then this might be what you re looking for.
Labels are clean with minimal spindle wear and no discernible spider marks.
The outer sleeve grades very good-, with some rubbing to edges and corners but no splits. The inner sleeve has a long split to one side.
