MAGNIFICENT NEAR MINT SLEEVE
CAT: VERTIGO 6360 028

THE RECORD
THE LABELS
THE SPIRAL LABELS ARE IN SUPERB CONDITION
PRISTINE AND UNMARKED WITH A VERY WHITE B SIDE
THE COLOUR FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE WHERE THERE ARE JUST A SMALL AMOUNT OF TINY SPIDER LINES
THE VINYL
SUPERB VINYL. THIS IS SUCH A HARD ALBUM TO FIND IN COLLECTABLE CONDITION AND MOST HAVE BEEN PLAYED TO DEATH OVER THER YEARS.
THE SHEEN ON THIS LP IS STILL VERY GLOSSY AND IN DAYLIGHT THERE ARE NO MARKS TO BE SEEN ON EITHER SIDE.
WHEN PLACED UNDER A BANK OF SPOTLIGHTS THERE ARE JUST A FEW WISPY SURFACE HAIRLINES TO BE SEEN
THE TEST PLAY
THE RECORD PLAYS MAGNIFICENTLY THROUGH BOTH SIDES.
FIRSTLY NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE WHATSOEVER AND EVERY NOTE IS HEARD TO PERFECTION
SECONDLY NO DISTORTION WHATSOEVER, MEANING NO GROOVE WEAR
THIRDLY NO LOUD CLICKS OR POPS AND NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE
EVEN DURING THE MOST SILENT PASSAGES OF MUSIC THERE IS NOTHING DETRIMENTAL
I HAVE NEVER HEARD A CLEANER COPY
THE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS JUST PURE FIRST PRESS
A COUPLE OF THE TINIEST DUST POPS OR TICS AND ONLY A COUPLE OF RANDOM BARELY AUDIBLE SPECKS OF STATIC LIKE BACKGROUND
A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THIS FIRST PRESS
THIS AUDIO EASILY GRADES NEAR MINT
HOWEVER PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN TO THE AUDIO AND CONFIRM THIS FOR YOURSELF
THE SLEEVE
A VERY HARD SLEEVE TO FIND IN GREAT CONDITION.
USUALLY BADLY RUBBED AND RINGWORN
THIS ONE IS WITHOUT QUESTION ONE OFTHE BEST EXAMPLES
THE FRONT SURFACE IS JUST IMMACULATE
DEEP RICH AND VIBRANT COLOURS TO THE FRONT SURFACE . NONE OF THE GREYING USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE EDGES AND CERTAINLY NONE OF THE GREEN HUE THAT IS OFTEN SEEN WHERE THE COLOURS HAVE RUBBED THROUGH TO THE UNDERCARD
NONE OF THAT AT ALL, JUST DEEP RICH INKS ACROSS THE COVER
NO RING WEAR OR EVEN RECORD SHAPE
THE SPINE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE LINES AGAINST IT WHATSOEVER - THIS IS UNHEARD OF
TWO EXTREMELY TINY ONES ON THE TOP EDGE, NONE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE
NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE
THE CORNERS ARE STILL SHARP AND SQUARE WITH A DOT OF RUB ON THE TIP ENDS
THE TOP EDGES HAVE VIRTUALLY FULL COLOURS ACROSS THE SURFACES. NO UNDERCARD VISIBLE AND A PIN PRICK OF RUB TO THE CORNER TIPS
THE BOTTOM EDGES HAVE A FEW PIN PRICKS OF RUB ON THE SURFACES, BUT IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS THIS IS VERY MINIMAL
THE SPINE IS FLAT AND FREE FROM SQUASHING. THE COLOURS ARE VIRTUALLY PRISTINE WITH ONLY A LITTLE SLIVER OF RUB AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM ENDS
THE TYPEFACE IS ALL PERFECT
THE OPENING EDGE IS STILL VERY SHARP
THE REAR SURFACE IS OFTEN WHERE THE SLEEVE LOOKS ITS WORST. SEVERE RING WEAR AND LOSS OF COLOUR BLIGHTS MOST OF THESE BUT HERE IS ONE WITH A NEAR PERFECT BROWN COVERING ACROSS THE WHOLE SURFACE, JUST A VERY LIGHT GREYING TO THE EDGES
I DON T THINK I HAVE SEEN A CLEANER EXAMPLE
THERE IS ONE PRESSUR ELINE ON THE SPINE AND TOP EDGE AND TWO ON THE BOTTOM. NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE
OPENING IN THE GATEFOLD REVEALS TWO SUPER LOOKING INNER PANELS WITH JUST A FEW WHITE SPECKS VISIBLEON THE LEFT EDGE
THE POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE IS THE SWIRL ORIGINAL . ONE VERY SMALL SIDE SEAM SPLIT. AND HAS THE CORRECT DATE PRINTED IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER 0171
THIS SLEEVE EASILY GRADES NEAR MINT
