UK issue of The Clash classic London Calling LP Label / catalogue number - CBS CLASH 3 I m not sure whether this is the very first pressing but it must be a very early release given the 5 hype sticker and white labels - I lost the will to live trying to identify the precise variant from the many listed on Discogs but as far as I can make out the vinyl matrices are as follows: Side 1 - 1-2-A1 CBS S CLASH 3 A timtom Side 2 - C2-1-2-B1 timtom Side 3 - CL 3 4 A 2 CBS CLASH 3 C2 timtom Side 4 - CL 3 4 B 2 CBS CLASH 3 D2 TRACK 5 IS TRAIN IN VAIN Condition notes....
All sides of the vinyl have marks I ve tried to capture some in the pics so visually grades VG, but having play tested end to end it sounds excellent throughout - I just detected a couple of isolated light pops/clicks and a little bit of light ambient crackle in a couple of places All labels are nice and clean with no writing or other marks The outer cover is a strong EX imho - there are just a couple of tiny creases on the spine and edges, a small crease on the bottom left corner, a bit of age discolouration on the rear, and the faintest of ring marks Both of the inners show some signs of handling and have light ring marks and creases in places but there are no splits, tears, writing or other marks Postage notes....
I always use high quality custom record mailers Unless the item is new and still sealed I remove records from both the outer sleeve and any printed inner in order to prevent seam splits in transit UK - I ll combine postage if buying more than one item - please wait for invoice Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay s Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine p p costs for multiple purchases.
