Welcome to my listings.
To all overseas bidders Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations. I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay the correct custom duty on any winning item.

All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.

PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon Ultra Rare and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1973 UK very early first pressing 10-track LP with BLUE SOLID PRISM labels with silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text. With very early A2/B2 matrices. This example has no hype sticker. Housed in the classic gatefold picture sleeve, with both pockets not sealed and remain opening there are 3 variants to the cover this is variant 3 and displays a blue colour tinge unlike the jet black print of later issues, also includes the black poly lined inner, two stickers two matt posters SHVL804

PLAY GRADED:

Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6 s positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.

The LP played perfectly with very light minimal surface noise, while listening there were no loud pops, skips or jumps. The music was clean and crisp.

If I was marking this LP out of 10 on sound quality alone I would easily give it 9.5 out of 10. There was just very light minimal surface noise to both sides opening tracks and in between the more quieter passages. Amazing sound and play quality for a 50 year old LP.

I ve heard noisier modern pressings than this 50 year old classic.

Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise.

Please remember that this is an Original 50 year old LP.

I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.

THE COVER: The semi-glossy cover shows light wear to the top and bottom edges, the spine has also light wear with light creasing. The covers surface shows very light storage scuffing. All corners have light wear and age related rounding. The opening edge remains clean with no major feathering. Otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage. So have graded the cover conservatively in VERY GOOD condition.

THE BACK COVER: The back cover reflects the front and reveals no damage at all. I have graded the back cover again in VERY GOOD condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: The inner sleeve has been graded in VERY GOOD condition. With no signs of damage

THE POSTERS: Both posters have been been graded in VERY GOOD condition. With just light creasing, there is cellotape residue on the pink/band poster view image

THE STICKERS: The stickers have been graded in VERY GOOD condition. There are no signs of damage but the yellow/blue sticker has creasing.

THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of its original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight looks awesome. When viewed and placed under a 100w bulb there are minor hairline/surface marks to both sides which can not be felt which when the LP was played did not effect any part of the sound. There are no deep scratches which can be seen or felt. I have graded the vinyl conservatively in VERY GOOD condition. Plays very solid EXCELLENT

Side 1 in VERY GOOD condition. Side 2 in VERY GOOD condition.

THE LABELS: The labels are in EXCELLENT condition with minor light spindle marks. There is no wear around the central spindle hole.
