Parlogram is delighted to have been commissioned to sell one of the largest collection of Beatles vinyl to come onto the market for many years.
This once-in-a-lifetime collection comprises over 2,000 LPs, 1,000 45s/EPs many box sets from virtually every country/territory where Beatles records were released.
All records will be sold exclusively on Ebay in auction format only no Buy It Now offers please and WITHOUT RESERVE.
Due to the number of discs listed each week, gradings are visual only.
However we are happy to provide audio grades on request.
We begin 2014 with part 1 of the Japanese LPs - arguably some of their finest sounding pressings THE BEATLES - THE BEATLES SECOND ALBUM Their 2nd Japanese LP release was similar in design to the U.S.
LP of the same name, but had a different track-listing This 1st mono pressing dating from initial June 1964 release is on RED VINYL with black silver Odeon labels: OR-7058 This earliest label variation has LONG PLAYING printed around the lower edge Matrix numbers: 2EJ-19 10 2EJ-20 14 Vinyl weight: 160g Housed within a soft semi-gloss bi-flipback cover with 1,500 YEN price on the rear panel, complete with original 2-sided lyric sheet CONDITION Disc: VERY GOOD This copy has received a moderate amount of play and there are numerous, well aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Both playing surfaces are clean with little more than some harmless wispy inner-sleeve hairlines beneath halogen light, but nothing I would call a scratch.
Cover: EXCELLENT Clean fully intact with light handling storagewear but no significant or major faults.
Both seams are smooth unstressed and the spine is unworn fully worded.
Lyric sheet: VERY GOOD Some foxing on both sides but no creasing or tears.
