acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment
is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after
auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in
detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times
delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular
has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

We use an ultrasonic KLAudio
machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully
packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of
3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad
inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We
take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please

Pioneering
early 70 s cosmic space band CLUSTER, emerged from the first inception
of the Krautrock scene ... with the seriously-rare 71 high-energy
CLUSTER LP on Philips, onto the legendary 1972 green Brain CLUSTER
II LP ... Followers had to wait two-years before CLUSTER released
their 3rd LP ZUCKERZEIT in 1974, which bore resemblence to a far more
acessible output , yet remaining highly spaced-out ... not unlike
what early 70 s KRAFTWERK were creating before absolute commercialism
..
Cluster. comprised of the experimental electronics duo Dieter
Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius the 1974 release, Zuckerzeit ,
was produced by Cluster and MICHAEL ROTHER of NEU - finds the
mighty CLUSTER expanding with electronic rhythm-boxes, Farfisa organ
and Davoli synthesisers, as well as similar organs and keys and even
the odd bent-guitars .
CLUSTER S approach on ZUCKERZEIT draws a parallel with Kraftwerk s excellent Ralf and Florian album
To
briefly describe each piece - Side 1 opens with Hollywood , an oddly
composed piece with its bizarrely programmed, off-beat electronic
rhythms and synth - how on earth you program a rhythm-box like this, one
just don t know -- must be some weird loop arrangement.
The lead synth sounds very much like a violin.
Caramel is upbeat and treads synth-pop territory.
Rote
Riki is the long-ish piece at 6.10, and isa go-to choice cut with
strange sounds swirlings over a slow beat. Very spacey, even quirky and
is closest to their previous work.
Rosa is pure Cluster , from beat of the earth overlayed by cosmic effects, plenty of effects stoners.
Side
2 opens with Caramba , a synthetic sounding two-chord jam complete
with trippy guitar playing and has a slight hue of HAWKWIND going for
it.
Fotschi Tong is a gentle hypnotic groove, while the
repetitive James features echo-plex guitars and a drone background,
very notiable Krautrock ....
Marzipan is another tranquil piece similar to Rosa .
As
well, Rotor is upbeat and with weird synth sounds. Then, the final
track, Heisse Lippen is short and sweet with similar SCI-FI
instrumentation as the album opener.
All said, both sides qualify
as aan engaging album which should be enjoyed a lot --- not a bit of
filler on either side --- yet different enough from their earlier
couple of years, kosmiche experiments.
