Oasis What s The Story Morning Glory
MPO 1995 original first press.
Superb copy of this LP, I recognise it s important to be accurate in the description so I ve taken as many pictures as the system will allow, including measurements all blemishes on the sleeve and the labels.
This sleeve is in outstanding condition, a strong Mint -, or 9.5 out of 10, please see the pictures for clarification, there are one or two very small areas of shelfware that I ve tried to measure and on the inside of the opening sleeve in the top, right corner, the card has warped slightly.
Overall, it s an incredible condition and looks brand-new, colours are still strong, edges and spine are pretty much immaculate.
Please see the last picture in the auction for a nice clear barcode, in the top right corner on the back sleeve
All four sides are EX .
I have inspected the vinyl and all four sides under a strong light, all four sides are in superb, condition with very light, surface marks from sleeve, withdrawal only.
I have played all four sides loudly well you would wouldn t you proper blast from the past with tunes that would stand up today.
All four sides play through perfectly with one or two tiny areas of background noise, typical of all vinyl.
These records have been cleaned on my Pro-ject vinyl cleaner and have been placed in anti-static sleeves.
Overall, these records still sound, deep, and rich and full.
the matrixes are:
Side 1 CRE - LP - 198 A -
Side 2 CRE - LP - 189 B -
Side 3 CRE - LP - 189 C -
Side 4 CRE - LP - 189 -
This is not the MPO scratched issue.
The labels are the original, early textured paper issue, the label on side, 1 is perfect with no spindle wear, the label on side 2 has paper lift in the top right corner with no spindle marks, please see the photographs, the label on side 3 has three red marks and a tiny green mark, once again, with no spindle marks, I ve taken photographs of these. As this LP has obviously been respected over the years I assume these marks were there when it was purchased, the label on side 4 has a paper split around the spindle hole and once again with no spindle marks.
The black inner sleeves with the die cut holes are VG condition. it looks like the records have been installed outside of the cover as these inner sleeves look like they ve done the job of protecting the vinyl over the years as they have stood other oasis records.
Overall, a huge copy of this LP, happy bidding and thanks for looking.
