The Matrix numbers run SSR001 A / LYN 5161-1CR on the run off groove on the A side, there is no record label referenced anywhere on the record or sleeves. The label is the original yellow design with ornate type matching the style of the sleeve.
The lyric insert is in VG condition being free from any obvious wear no rips, tears, edgewear, creasing or markings , with the album lyrics on one side and the single lyrics on the other.
The outer sleeve is graded as VG as it is structurally fine no splits but does have a faint trace of ring wear to the front and the occasional albeit minor crease. The base edge of the sleeve is a little rubbed towards the opening edge see photo . The spine titles are intact and can be seen here towards the top see photo .
The record has obviously been well cared for and played sparingly. I have conservatively graded the disc as VG condition as there are 2 hairline marks on track two side one see photo both are around 7 millimetres in length but neither are deep.
Nor were they audible on play back which was excellent, both sides play beautifully and are free from any audible faults no distortions, skips, pops or jumps .
Otherwise the playing surfaces on both sides are free from wear and have a nice clean sheen.
The labels are bright, clean and free from any damage.
A very nice copy of this monster rare acid folk holy grail I ve only come across this Edinburgh groups debut once before about 20 years ago, so despite being a local group it is incredibly rare.
