I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good G / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
AFFINITY.
1970 UK 1st PRESSING VERTIGO SWIRL LP.
A strictly graded rare original pressing of this great LP.
The Cover / VG condition. A small sticker removal tear to the front that is seen in the pictures above. The cover is in solid shape with some storage edge wear plus some normal age wear.
The Record / VG condition. A clean disc with a nice gloss when graded under halogen bulb. The record has just some light surface wear but no bad marks. This is a strong VG condition.
The LP plays well with just a little surface sound on the quite moments under the music.
The Labels / VG condition. The labels have no tears or writing, they have just some age wear.
The Inner Cover / VG condition. Original polylined Vertigo swirl inner cover that is in strong shape.
I have put the disc in a new white inner cover.

I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
