This is the original release from 1989 with the gatefold cover and features artwork by Games Workshop from the game Warhammer 40,000 . The license to use the artwork lasted until 2002.
During the preparations for the 2005 re-release Games Workshop which had become a huge company in the meantime refused to license the artwork to Earache again, so they were forced to use different artwork.
