I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good G / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
DAVY JONES.
YOU VE GOT A HABBIT OF LEAVING / BABY LOVES THAT WAY.
ORIGINAL 1965 PARLOPHONE UK 7 SINGLE - R 5315.
This 45 is now listed at the lowest price I will take for the record. This is what it is and maybe the only time you will find the record in this sort of condition. Please no offers on this one, as stated below a copy has just sold for nearly 2k with NO centre and in average condition
The disc was only played a couple of times, this is a true EX example, I am sure most would of said near Mint
The labels are also like new condition.
The record comes with its top condition birth Parlophone cover.
The record is rare in any condition but like this it is investment / museum grade
A copy on Disogs sold February 2024 with NO centre and in VG condition for near 2000
Another example sold for 4000 but has many spindle marks
This will be one of the very best in the world
R1 / R1 stampers.
7XCE 18001-1 / 7XCE 18002-1 matrix numbers.
The Record / EX condition. The disc is in great condition with a superb full original gloss. Even when graded under halogen bulb the record is in top shape. I do not think you will ever see a better example. Please see my feedback. .
The Labels / Mint- condition. Both are stunning like new condition.
The Cover/ EX condition. Original birth Parlophone cover in very nice clean shape. The cover is 100 original and not a reproduction.
The disc is now housed a a new polylined cover as seen in the pictures.
.................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
