Legenday jam leaded by Gianni Basso and Oscar Valdambrini - a luxurious and yummy session recorded in the historical Fonit studios in Milan, December 1970.
The record makes pair with H 602 - JAZZ: STILE POP/JAZZ, recorded just a few days days earlier and takes part to the series composed of 4 albums published on Fonit Library recordings by this small combo.
Complesso Basso-Valdambrini or Basso-Valdambrini Quintet was composed of O.Valdambrini at the trumpet, G.Basso at tenor sax, Ettore Righello on piano, Giorgio Azzolini at the contrabass and Lionello Bionda on drums.
Some of the best and most prolific Jazz units to emerge from Italy late 50 s to early 70s and possibly one of the last performances to date.
