Item Description

Here is a HIGHLY DESIRABLE, HARD-TO-FIND, and LEGENDARY OUT-OF-PRINT LP, hands down It s the first and only LP by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, both of whom later went on to join Fleetwood Mac.

It has truly become a LANDMARK LP, now more than 50 years old, that launched the careers of these two exceptional recording artists. In fact, this LP is so iconic that it was pictured in the CNN documentary series, The Seventies , on TV

In this auction:

BUCKINGHAM NICKS self-titled first only LP by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks

Both later went on to join Fleetwood Mac.

This is Polydor PD 5058.

This LP was released September 5, 1973.

The GATE-FOLD COVER has the song lyrics printed inside.

The LP in this auction is the ORIGINAL 1973 FIRST PRESSING WITH THE GATEFOLD COVER. The later 1975 second pressing and 1981 Keel repressing did NOT have the gate-fold cover with lyrics printed inside.

This is an EXCELLENT LP in terms of content and contains 10 great cuts including Don t Let Me Down Again , Long Distance Winner , Crying in the Night , Without a Leg to Stand On , Races Are Run , Crystal a Stevie Nicks song long sought after by fans , and Frozen Love .

The LP has a great line up of cuts you can only hear by listening to a copy of the LP, because the LP is WAY OUT OF PRINT and contains GREAT material from the team-up of Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

The GATE-FOLD COVER is VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG CONDITION. There is light overall wear on the front and rear slicks, a little bit of edge-wear, light to moderate wear on the corners, and very small pushes on a couple of the corners. Inside the gate-fold cover is CLEAN and WHITE. There are NO seam splits, NO flaking, NO writing and NO ringwear.

As you probably know, the dark front and rear slicks/images were prone to easily show wear over a short time of rubbing against other LP covers. But, as you can see, this one has very minimal wear. Check out the images and you will see just how NICE and CLEAN this cover is

The VINYL is VERY STRONG VG to WEAK NEAR MINT CONDITION with just a few VERY LIGHT/SLIGHT hairlines that are SURFACE-ONLY and NOT AT ALL feel-able.

This LP comes with its ORIGINAL POLYDOR PAPER INNER SLEEVE.

It s a LEGENDARY LP that deserves a place in your vinyl collection, so don t pass it by

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G for Good Plus, VG for Very Good, VG for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint to VISUALLY GRADE this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
