Original Capitol Records promotional DJ radio station copy of Pink Floyd s 8th studio album The Dark Side Of The Moon released by Harvest Records in March, 1973. This copy represents the true 1st US pressing which is practically impossible to find in a factory sealed condition. The front cover of this promotional copy contains a large white sticker with the rubber ink stamped dark purple banner reading Promotional Album Not For Sale . The top right corner has a Capitol Records promotional punch hole which partially overlaps the Dark Side Of The Moon hype sticker. This hype sticker, besides the band name and album title contains only the SMAS-11163 catalog number and doesn t have the Printed in U.S.A. text which appeared on the sticker of later issues. Just like any other early issue of this album, this copy contains inside a large number of promotional materials, including two posters, one with a pyramid and the other with a photo of the band, and two self-adhesive stickers with the Dark Side of the Moon graphics.
The shrink wrap is fully intact and contains one breathe hole on each side of the album. The top and bottom left corners of the back cover have a slight push-in. Aside from that, the album is in beautiful Mint Minus condition.
