Very rare STEREO copy of Del Shannon s 1961 release Runaway With Del Shannon on Bigtop 12-1303.
This is an incredibly scarce and hard to find LP. Especially in this condition. This LP appears to have hardly ever been played. This disc is in excellent condition and playback is truly remarkable.
This LP features Del Shannon s 1961 hit song Runaway but the Stereo mix has the wrong or different lead vocal.

The Bell Sound mark is usually an indicator this is a genuine 1961 Stereo press.
This copy has a deep groove pressing ring with silver typeface on a non-glossy black label.
This copy has a small STEREO banner on the left side of the label.

Record: NM This LP has a full sheen and luster that looks like a brand new record. The grooves and both center labels are in excellent condition and well preserved. There may be the faintest signs of sleeve storage but these do not affect playback at all. Simply due to its age this LP is as well preserved as possible and appears to have hardly been played. This LP has been thoroughly play graded and sounds excellent. From Del Shannon s vocals to the Musitron played by Maxfield Doyle Crook, who co-wrote the track, this copy sounds top notch.
Cover: VG Signs of storage and some minor tearing on the top left corner of the cover. Less than 1/2 hardly noticeable. The Stereo stamp has slight fading and there is a hole punch in the top left corner. Overall this cover still looks fantastic and is well preserved. See photos above.
