Item Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.
OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 22 ,000 positive feedback.
We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

Climb aboard ... offering an all-time wAy-Out stoned groover .. the very first LARD FREE providing cool fun-zones with swirling twists and turns from beginning to end
LARD FREE got their groove goin on
Their 1973 first of three LP s - and considered their best.
LARD FREE s first album is full of great spacey rock dominated along the way by scorching shreds of metallic distortion guitar, superb drumming, great bass work and acid-winds weaving around.

the fan-man weighs in:

LARD FREE s first album is an early unique example in the meshing of psychedelic underground and woozy jazz rhythms and blasts... There is an acidic, improvised feel to a lot of the music that makes it more a direct descendant of Jimi Hendrix jazz-rock flirtations a la Still Raining on Electric Ladyland than any recognizable school of fusion or free jazz.

The album formula informs 12 ou 13 Juillet qui je Sais D Elle, as an 8 minute excursion into distorted spacey synth soundscapes that segues into some ferocious improvised jazz-rock and is also repeated on Monfleur Ecarlate.

Acide Framboise is the most hippie jam type song of them all, probably cos of the bluesy guitar leads from Francois Mativet ... there s some fine musicianship on display throughout, not least from the multi-talented Artman himself, but you really have to be in the zone to dig it. Indeed a sober jazz fan is likely to lose patience when, after the six minute jam concludes, the very next piece Livarot Respiration begins with the exact same bass line, although thankfully the atmosphere is different thanks to the skillful use of vibraphone and cosmic-winds to create an ultra-mellow vibe.

To tell the truth, for some, not me, there s a little too much feedback-drenched improvisation.
