Johanna Martzy : Mendelssohn Violin Concerto Uk Ed1 Vinyl 33cx 1497 Columbia

This is a very scarce original ED1 issue of a UK album of music by Mendelssohn and Beethoven played by Johanna Martzy with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Paul Kletzki titled Violin Concerto In E Minor / Romance No. 1 In G Major / Romance No. 2 In F Major released on Columbia Records in 1957. The record is beautifully clean, I can only see a couple of very faint hairlines under overhead light and on playback heard only a few very light pops in the quieter parts. It looks and sounds excellent, some would grade it better and it comes in the delicate scalloped flip-back fully laminated sleeve which is also excellent with only the lightest signs of ever being stored and it is really nice. A better original copy would be hard to find and the disc comes in it s original poly-lined inner company sleeve which is superb.
