CD and Art in very nice condition, case will be new.
This disc contains 7 tracks recorded for an album he never was able to finish before his passing in October of 2000. There is a mention of this on his wikipedia site. The sound quality of the 7 studio versions is professional quality as you would expect from an artist of Ben s caliber. Six of the songs are also included as live versions, which do not have the same sound quality but they re not bad. Unfortunately the front cover is blank on the back side, no information about the origin of the songs. So all the info I have is in the pics. They are fully completed songs, between 4:18 and 5:30 each.
As a big fan of the Cars, and particularly Ben, I picked this disc up in the early 2000 s without hesitation. I filed it away and forgot about it until just recently when I started getting back into some of my older cd collection. I really like most of these songs, and feel they should be out there making other fans happy, so I am passing it on. If you liked The Lace , his earlier solo release, you will likely like this one as well. It is my only copy, and I am not able to locate another one anywhere, thus the high price. I believe it is pretty rare.
It states right on the back sleeve that this is a cd for Collectors, and was not commercially released. Maybe it was distributed by a friend or engineer that worked with him on the cd.
