Item Description

From the personal collection of J Dilla James Dewitt Yancey , we have a copy of Victor Feldman Plays Everything In Sight, released and pressed in 1967. The certificate of authenticty states:

This document certifies that the accompanying LP record comes from the personal collection of James Yancey, also known as Jay Dee or J Dilla. This LP may have been used in the production of one of thousands J Dilla compositions.
The Certificate of Authenticity is numbered and signed by Ma Dukes aka his mom , and in fact the jacket bears some writing that was possibly his. Note the highlighting and writing on the inside of the left gatefold. See photos.

I would grade the jacket itself generously as good condition. As you can see, the edges are taped, and that tape has started to split. There are numerous stickers, marks, etc. But of course, the point is that this is Dilla s copy and possibly some of those marks/stickers/etc were his This has sat in a hard case and rarely moved since purchase from the estate 10 years ago.

The record itself is VG to VG .

You can see more about the album itself on Discogs.

You can read more about how this collection came to be in this great Pitchfork article.

I have two others from this collection I will be posting soon
