Item Description

THE BEATLES - HELLO, GOODBYE / I AM THE WALRUS

Sparingly played original 1967 UK DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE Beatles rarity in great condition, with super sound quality and original EMI advertising sleeve

Year/Label : 1967 UK PARLOPHONE
Label number : R 5655
Matrix numbers : 7XCE 18433 - 1, 7XCE 18434 - 1 with the KT tax code on each side
Stampers : 1 G / 1 G

Excellent condition vinyl with each side retaining an impressive jet black sheen still, and the only blemishes being just a few extremely faint paper scuffs on each side - only detectable with close inspection under a bright light, purely superficial and not impinging upon the excellent sound quality. Each label is excellent plus - just a couple of small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each side, otherwise perfect. The 4-pronged push-out centre remains perfectly intact. Hard to believe that this vinyl rarity is now 57 years old The sound quality on each side is truly excellent with no clicks or background crackle/interference - simply great tone and clarity throughout. Comes with original very good plus condition EMI advertising outer sleeve with no seam splits, barely any creasing creasing, and just some minor handling/storage marks and very light age discolouration towards the edges. Note that I always house the vinyl in a plain white sleeve for shipping purposes in order to protect the original. Super rare and worthy of gracing any vinyl collection.

POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK 8 using Royal Mail special delivery

for continental Europe 10 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked,

and for the rest of the world 12 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
