Comprende l album originale nel suo ordine di esecuzione originario, le intime registrazioni dei Queen in studio, demo, rare tracce live, esibizioni delle BBC session e registrazioni inedite della prima esibizione live dei Queen a Londra dell agosto del 1970. inclusa anche la prima uscita ufficiale di Hangman , la composizione dei Queen che stata un pilastro dei loro primi spettacoli ma che non mai stata registrata in studio.
Esclusa dalla pubblicazione del 1973, la canzone Mad the Swine stata rimessa al suo posto nell ordine di esecuzione originario.
Nella confezione del box incluso un libro di 108 pagine con la riproduzione dei testi scritti a mano, oltre a memorabilia.
The 6CD 1 LP Queen I box set contains 63 tracks with 43 brand new mixes, comprising the original album with its intended running order restored, intimate fly-on-the-wall audio of Queen in the studio, demos, rare live tracks, BBC session performances and previously unheard recordings from Queen s first ever live performance in London, August 1970. Also included is the first official release of Hangman , a Queen composition which was a mainstay of their early live shows, but which was never recorded in the studio. Absent from the 1973 release, the song Mad the Swine has been reinstated to its original place in the running order. A 108-page book containing handwritten lyrics and memorabilia accompanies the release.
