You are bidding on a very rare jazz funk instrumental LP from Galt MacDermot, Nucleus, released in 1971 on MacDermot s own Kilmarnock record label. On this album Galt MacDermot plays piano organ and his backed by Ted Dunbar Billy Nichols on guitar, Gordon Edwards on bass and the legendary Bernard Pretty Purdie on drums. Multiple parts of Golden Apples Part II were sampled by J Dilla on his legendary Donuts release on the song Mash.

Record Condition Varies from VG to VG There is a light amount of surface noise throughout most of the record, more noticeable in quiet passages or on slower songs, but it is never overpowering. The vinyl has numerous marks, but only superficial scratches that do not affect play beyond pops and clicks to my ears. LP Labels are visible in pictures above, show some wear but still shine shimmer in gold. Fantastic play or production copy of a very rare album.
Cover Condition VG : I would normally grade a cover in this condition VG , if not for the small tear in the upper left hand corner,visible in picture above. Other wise,there are no seam splits very little bruising on the corners. There is some creasing visible on the front cover and very slight browning on the white background on the front and back. Rare to find in any condition, very rare to find a cover in this solid condition.
