OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In
order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any
concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no
need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep
in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to
acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment
is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after
auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in
detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times
delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular
has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide
excellent service as is represented by our well over 21,000 positive feedback.
We use an ultrasonic KLAudio
machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully
packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of
3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad
inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We
take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please
give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we
will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare
and collectible music We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

The DRUIDS OF STONEHENGE

USA - UNI Records - 73004 stereophonic
Most of the material presented on this record pays apparent homage to the crude and cross brew of snotty fuzzed-out blues based raw rock of The Lollipop Shoppe Van Morrison s Them, the early Rolling Stones and the Pretty Things.
Anchored by filthy vocals growling, snarling with bile, Lead-off track Six Feet Down moves at a slow and haunting pace, while Speed crackles and crunches with clattering guitars and edgy harmonies. Blending eerie tones with gritty rock rhythms, Painted Woman and A Garden Where Nothing Grows hang fast as other notable songs on Creation, along with numbing take on It s All over Now Baby Blue and Screaming Jay Hawkins I Put A Spell On You.
As attested by these tracks, the Druids of Stonehenge were masters of melancholy. Motivated by doom and gloom, the band produced a stupefying spooky sound.
Imagine the Chocolate Watchband jamming with the Lollipop Shoppe, and that should give you some idea what zone the Druids of Stonehenge operated in.
The New York-based Druids of Stonehenge front-man Dave Budge, guitarists Carl Hauser and Bill Tracy, bassist Tom Workman and drummer Steve Tindall exemplified both the surly essence of teen garage-punk and the experimental spirit of psychedelia.
The CREATION OF STONEHENGE formed in 1965 as a scrappy, R B-influenced teen combo in the early Rolling Stones/Pretty Things mold. By 1968, the Druids had fused psychedelia to their wild garage roots, relocated to the West Coast and signed with the UNI label.
The Druids of Stonehenge unveiled their retooled sound with this LP Creation, which revealed the quintet to be one of the toughest, most imaginative outfits of its era, maintaining both a forceful, earthy edge and an ethereal air of mystery. Those qualities were manifested in Budge s snarling, Jaggeresque vocals and the band s tense, punchy playing, which elevated such memorable originals as Six Feet Down, Earthless A Garden Where Nothing Grows and Pale Dream, as well as their distinctive reworkings of Baby Blue, and Arthur Lee Love s Signed D.C. ....Throughout the decades, the band and the album have gained immensely in stature and prestige among garage-psych aficionados and 60s devotees, with original copies of Creation becoming sought-after collectibles.
