Fine example of this essential Alice Cooper album in rare original form.
UNIPAK Gatefold sleeve grades strict EX to EX .
No sign of any edge wear Spine text is 100 visible.
Very slight corner dings, but these really should not be an issue given the usual condition this sleeve sometimes turns up in.
The front gatefold is a single layer of cardboard, so these usually come frayed along the opening edge, very bent, also torn, or worse.
Not this one Just some light surface rub where the black has lifted off from storage, and minor creasing near the spine in a couple of places.
Otherwise a solid and very respectable example.
Please look at all the detailed photos of front, back and inside The reverse usually turns grubby and foxed with age, but again this example is very clean and free from such issues.
It would be hard to find better than this.
Inside gatefold is immaculate.
Envelope style compartment UNIPAK where the LP slips inside.
These UK straight sleeves are notorious for showing significant ring wear and print rubbing off.
Black is of course the most noticeable when it rubs off.
All in all though this most fragile of covers is a respectable EX The STRAIGHT labels are immaculate - Near Mint.
Vinyl shows only slight hairline wisps from inner sleeve removal.
I doubt this record was played more than just a few times.
No flaws on playback.
Audio is crisp and clear.
This copy will please all but the most fussy of collectors.
I say find another one as nice as this .
Vinyl grades EX .Slightly lighter weight vinyl than some of the others in the STS catalogue.

Listed one at a time I have decided with much hesitation to unleash my COMPLETE Frank Zappa Straight label long-play album collection to the world.
These are/were the crowning jewel to my extensive Zappa/Mothers/Beefheart album collection.
Some of these titles are IMPOSSIBLE to locate nowadays, and some that I am listing are true Near Mint archive examples.
Very few were pressed as UK originals.
My listing prices will vary, taking into account the rarity, desirability and condition of these albums.
You could spend a lifetime trying to find better examples of some of these LP s Among everything I have collected over the years, getting a clean EX /Near Mint set of UK Straights has proved the most difficult and time consuming.
They are few and far between I take into account past auction results if any and the approximate selling prices of those in similar condition.
Some do indeed sell for a LOT more.

ALL of these LP s have sleeves that grade between EX to EX condition, and ALL have vinyl grading between EX to Near Mint condition Over 25 years I have bought these particular LP s several times over to get the very best examples.
I am a very fussy collector like many out there and I can assure you these copies are as fine as they get.
I do not over grade my items and I m very honest about any flaws if any .
This is one of 15 very rare opportunities for the Frank Zappa Straight label collector.
I had originally planned to sell these as a complete lot - as a collection, but selling them individually seems to be the way forward, due to some of these titles having sold for big money over the past few years.
After all, this is the only reason I am selling these fabulous rare records - to fund another interest of mine.
