MINT: Record is in perfect condition.
NM: or, near mint . Record is in almost perfect condition, shiny with no visible defects, no writing, no surface noise when played, free of creases or ring wear.
VG : may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches that do not effect sound when played. Minor signs of handling, very light ring wear or discoloration.
VG: or, very good . Obvious flaws, lack original gloss, groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches that are deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Surface noise and some scratches will be audible, but will not overpower the music otherwise.
G/G /VG-: or, good . Record will still play through without skipping, significant surface noise and groove wear, label is worn, significant ring wear, writing, damage caused by stickers or tape.
P/F: or, poor/fair . Record is cracked, warped, or skip when tried to be played.
