The sleeve I m putting at VG-. It has some issues. But the vinyl is VG conservatively. The covers sort of crummy gate fold cover doesn t have what we would think of as seams. But they have come apart only in the instances holding the 2 records. There a sticker residue on the sleevr. It does have the OG inner Sleeves though they seem better made than the promo cover. The record s distribution was given to the great, late Stax, but we know how that all turned out. Quick anecdote in like 2000, I saw Alex Chilton play in a crummy club in Appalachia. I was 18 or 19 years old and I went backstage and he had a Subway bag in front of him. I said something like, Mr. Chilton, I just want you to know what a huge influence you are to me, etc., etc. He looked up at me with a mouthful of Subway and said, Can t you see I m trying to eat a f cking sandwich here? He said it mean but calm. And I just backed out of the empty room except for me and him , absolutely brokenhearted. He died 10 years later from a heart attack because I believe he didn t have health insurance America ffs . Him yelling at me like that hurt my feelings until I learned, a little later, that was pretty much him, hah. He did it to pretty much everyone. So, children by the millions well, you know the rest. But he was fantastic. We were better for him.
I have taken a lot of pics. This is a super rare white label original UK pressing of the compilation of Radio City and 1 Record. In fact it would become the CD that was the first Big Star for many of my generation.
I generally ship in 1-2 days and when I do so, I always do in a sturdy mailer.
