The album was recorded in Colin Richardson s garden shed which was converted into a studio Curborough Sound Studios, Lichfield ....this is a rare example of an album recorded in 1979 that changes hands for sums of money more commonly associated with early progressive LP s, extremely obscure limited pressing Record Collector Magazine UK Music: This fulfils all the requirements of the genre mysterious and quasi mystical lyrical content relating to Norse mythology a dense sound in which guitar pyrotechnics are well to the fore.
Record Collector Magazine UK Obviously a concept album and contains some great Prog moments with duelling guitars and the expected acoustic thrown in for light and shade dynamics, it reminded me of Nektars Journey to the Centre of the Eye in places and only really suffers from the recording production after all it was recorded in a make shift back garden studio shed still has all the great concept elements of shifting time signatures but with some nice melodies and psychedelic effects thrown in for good measure, you feel the band have really put in years of developing their craft into this one album for the pure love of it Label: Storm Catalogue No: SR 3307 Year: 1979 Country: UK Vinyl: M- Looks As New - even under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can only see the lightest of sleeve removal marks - Top copy.
