A super-rarity has just surfaced: a test-pressing picture disc for the recent HIStory collection.
This major-league collectable features the picture-label images from the vinyl LP, but blank grooves or rather no grooves at all.
Although looking as though it was pressed by hand in someone s garden shed, the HIStory picture disc has impeccable credentials, coming as it does from a source connected to Michael Jackson s MJJ company.
The discs originated as Brazilian radio promos, or there are only 12 copies in existence depending on the source.
Either way, there are only 2 copies in the U.K., priced at over 1,000 apiece
