Super scarce promotional issue for both label and debut release by the historic DIY punk label from Bristol - the press release starts with We are proud to announce the formation of Fried Egg Records - Bristol s latest and greatest record label
On the press release the titles of the debut release by Shoes For Industry are stated as I can t help it c/w Laughbeat EGG 001 although the titles are different on the record see Mario Panciera s great book 45 Revolutions for full information on band and this debut release .
This special promotional copy has a plastic fried egg stuck on the back of the sleeve which unfortunately created an oily affect on the area around it and is exceptionally rare I have seen this twice in all my years of collecting . Looks really unique and a nice promotional idea.
