Track A2.2 is not listed on either the sleeve or centre label. This 'hidden track' also does not appear on the 1969 US Mercury version of the release David Bowie - Man Of Words/Man Of Music.

UK 1st press on black labels with silver font print and "PHILIPS" on the label. This label variation has a second line for Copyright Control under the Essex Mus. Int. Ltd. credit. This is the first run of pressings as credits are not yet fully assigned and are pending for the majority of the tracks (the only songs credited to Essex Music on this variation are Space Oddity & Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud; The A-side and B-side respectively of the 1st pressed 45).

There is a label variation with a bold silver font "PHILIPS" on the label, and credits are assigned fully to Essex Music Int. Ltd. (A quickly re-issued edition as the copyright credits are agreed and fully assigned, but still a 1st press as the matrix / runout information are still the same).
