7" 45 RPM Promo Sampler

Special promotional only 7" sampler released in very limited quantity.

The 7" is housed in a generic 7 Records die-cut sleeve. Some copies were issued with a promotional only folder which included biographies of The Cure, The Tourists and Midnight Oil, along with promo cards and "Sounds of the Eighties" advert/order form.
It is believed that only 25 folder packs were produced.

"Special Promotional Sample" printed on both sides of the label. Made in Australia by 7 Records PTY Limited.

"I Only Want To Be With You" is from the album "[url=https://www.discogs.com/The-Tourists-Reality-Effect/release/3584957]Reality Effect[/url]".

"The Tourists" was a short lived project (1976-1980) which featured Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart,
who formed [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/13911-Eurythmics]The Eurythmics[/url] after the band's breakup.
"I Only Want To Be With You" is a cover of the 1960s song made famous by Dusty Springfield.
