The album title and liners incorrectly indicate that these were live recordings made in London, 1966.
According to Chris Sheridan's book "Count Basie: A Bio-Discography", the tracks of this release are actually taken from a live concert recorded 1965-09-18 at Hammersmith Odeon, London, and filmed by BBC TV on 16 mm.
In addition, Sheridan lists Norman Keenan, the regular bass player of the Basie band at that time. and not Al Lucas who only subbed in the Basie band on two occasions: an early 1965 engagement in Philadelphia and again in December 1967.

The following track titles are mis-spelled on this release and replaced by their correct versions in the track list:
A2: Flight Of The Foo Birds (not: Flight Of The Floo Birds)
A4: Blues For Ilean (not: Blues For Eileen)
B1: I Needs To Be Bee'd With (not: I Need's To Be Deed With)
B3: Li'l Darlin' (not: Lil' Darlin')

Arranging credits and track durations are also added from the Sheridan book, which has the following track sequence in performance order (and as presented in the BBC film): A1 to A5, B1, A6, B3, B2, B4.
