Issued in a front-laminated flipback sleeve, black and white print on reverse. Deep-grooved tan Elektra labels. Country of manufacture is stated on the labels but NOT on the sleeve which appears identical to that with [r3966239].

The presence of "Made in NZ", GEMA publishing (a German performance and collection agency) and the track layout on the label are the only discernible differences between this version and version [r3966239]. There is no evidence to definitively support that one version is earlier than the other. However, given that Elektra were still a fledgling company at that time and, like elsewhere in the world, were in the habit of contracting out the pressing of their records (in New Zealand's case initially to [l459033] and subsequently to [l131539]), it seems likely that this pressing pre-dates version [r3966239] by virtue of the GEMA reference. This is one of the few New Zealand Elektra pressings from the 1967-1970 era to definitively state "Made in N.Z." on the label.

'The End' is edited. It fades out on '... the end of laughter", unlike the original US mono release.
