As previously noted , this is a fifth pressing, second variation, known as PAR 1202.MR5(ii)

There are five variations of this pressing that marks the first appearance of the text, ‘RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED ..’, on a Beatle LP. The variations concern the placement of this text just above the number on the left side of the label that denotes album side. This second variation, ( ii ) , has the album side, ‘1’, just under the, ‘S’ in the word PUBLISHED, and the, ‘1’ that marks the first track, I SAW HER STANDING THERE, just under the, ‘U’, in PUBLISHED, as opposed to being just under the , ‘B’ as it is in variation one, PAR 1202.MR5(I).

Pressed summer 1963 - January 1964. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Recording first published 1963″. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label.
