Item Description

LP Unofficial Release

Working versions of the songs that appeared on the Women and Children album. The songs are in various stages of completion. Some have different lyrics, and others have no vocals at all! Studio chatter is present on some, and on others various members can be heard noodling around on their respective instruments and so on. The variations are numerous.
Artwork states, "Recorded in 17 days at Sunset Sound Studios Hollywood California 1980 These are the outtakes".
Tracks 4-6 on Side B are Bonus Tracks.
"Jean Genie" is attributed to David Bowie on the artwork. The artwork also says it's from Pasadena 76, but it is most likely from 1975.
Quality of most tracks isn't bad, except for the last one (BulletHead), which is a poor audience recording.
The artwork is set over top of a red striped pinwheel on woodgrain.
Front art shows the Women and Children First album art in the form of poster, with VH logos around it. The poster was originally for two shows at The Omni in Atlanta Georgia in Feb 1984.
The rear art is a black and white image of Dave, Ed, and Michael, along with the setlist and other info.
The LP is either red or white. 500 of each color were pressed, for 1000 copies total.
The LP labels are a dark gray with the word DEMOS on an angle through the center overtop of the WACF cover photo. An A or B indicates the side, and the Yellow Dog logo is at the bottom.
Released in November 2019.
