Issued with "The Hawkwind Log" (noted above); a 24-page booklet with photos, illustrations and text exploring themes such as extra-terrestrial intelligence, astrology and astronomy, ecology, science, occultism and mysticism, religion and philosophy.

The album cover design features an interlocking zig-zag cut, center-opening triptych fold-out sleeve, that folds out into a "T" configuration with flyout pages on inner center panel that contain the record. Band photos, artwork, credits and lyrics on the inside.

Produced at Olympic Studios, Barnes. Track one side two first recorded at Air Studios.
