Silver/Black Parlophone label. The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "EMI Records Ltd." (which started with the 1969 4th pressing) and the label has two EMI boxed logos, as opposed to one boxed logo on the 1969 version. 'Made in Great Britain' on label at 4 o'clock.

Has “stereo” on the front cover.
Bottom, rear cover, on right says, “Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.

Full title on back cover is 'Songs from the film A Hard Day's Night'. Side 1 is taken from the soundtrack of the United Artists film 'A Hard Day's Night'.
