Matte gatefold, white label promo, which lacks both obi and the glued 2-page blue insert of the original Japanese regular LP release [r6034361]. Original promo copies, however, came with a folder containing a complete Japanese press kit. In the folder there are 2 booklets; one being a 10-page pale blue foolscap paper Wishbone Ash fan booklet with navy type. The other booklet being a Japanese MCA press release for Wishbone Ash; it is a 12-page foolscap paper stapled booklet with red type (see pics).

On labels the Japanese title for Argus is 百眼の巨人 アーガス , which is found in parentheses.

There are no track times listed anywhere on release.
