• The perimeter text now begins with ''The Gramophone Co.''.
• ''Sold in the U.K..." text still appears below the logo.
• The "Recording first published" text has gone.
• The phonographic copyright appears below the matrix number.
• There is no longer an embossed UK Purchase Tax Code (KT).
• The Publisher / Rights Society text has not yet moved from above to below the Artist.

The difference between this and other current examples is the broader font used on both sides for "The Beatles" and also, on the A-side, for the track list.
