This edition comes in a blank, white, full laminated gatefold cover. For this reason, it's commonly known as "The White Album"

Front cover:
"The Beatles" is embossed.
A 6-digit number is stamped at the bottom right corner.
Some copies might have a printed golden sticker on front cover: "Deutscher Schallplattenpreis gestiftet vom Fono Forum".

Matrix on side C is stamped very close to label rim and uses a different font (narrow, with wide spaces between characters).
Matrix on side D is stamped in the middle of the runout.
